The curriculum fosters creativity and cooperativeness through play.
Projects
In Project, we regularly set topics and carry out a range of related activities. (The topics cover many genres including "animals," "vehicles," "vegetables" etc. During the lessons the children are encouraged to develop balanced abilities through a broad range of activities such as reading picture books, making things, carrying out experiments or applying themselves to some of our unique intellectual teaching materials. Also, through various activities, the children deepen their interests and develop drive and enthusiasm, from where they gradually become able to concentrate on tasks.
Free Play
In Free Play, the children choose their own mode of play, going on to arrange and develop it further. In the classroom there are various areas devoted to activities such as "blocks," "clay," "puzzles," "sand," "paint" and "handicrafts." With the teacher's guidance, the children become able to apply themselves enthusiastically to their play as well as develop concentration and creativity.
Garden Play
The three day per week course has Garden Play once or twice a week. In the two day per week course, it is available two or three times a month. On fine days the children go outside and enjoy playing in the sun. We have slides, a jungle gym, a sand-pit and a range of play tools for two years old to use. In the three day per week course, beginning in Term Two we occasionally incorporate Garden Play into Gym.
English(Only Three times a week)
While relating with teachers who are native speakers, children have their sense of English and internationality fostered.
Music
We seek to develop the children's character and ability to express themselves through having them enjoy contact with a broad range of music: songs and sounds, playing with musical instruments and eurhythmics.
Gymnastics(A class of Three times a week and Twice a week)
Held on alternate weeks. (Carried out by a gymnastics teacher rather than the regular class teacher.) We extend the children's physical ability by having them enjoy exercise freely and without constraint. We develop the children's physical ability as related to their sense of balance by having them jump up and down, leap, run, play with balls, play on mats and use a range of exercise tools.
Art(All class:once in a term)
Not only drawing pictures but enjoying art while using an abundance of materials and techniques,.
